Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Kaaka is sticking to its Sankranti date. On Diwali, the makers released a new poster that once again confirms the film’s January 13, 2027 release, putting an end to the rumours around it.
The Vishwambhara Rumours
For some time now, there has been continuous buzz that Chiranjeevi’s long-delayed Vishwambhara could take Kaaka’s Sankranti slot, with Kaaka moving to a later date.
The makers have now responded with a clear message. The new poster carries the date 13.1.27, making it clear that Kaaka is coming for Sankranti as planned.
An Intense New Look
The Diwali poster shows Chiranjeevi in a fierce, rugged avatar. Drenched in rain, he stands in a field of tall grass, holding a blood-stained sickle, with power lines stretching across a stormy sky behind him.
It’s a raw, intense look for the Megastar, and it has already got fans excited.

What About Vishwambhara?
With Kaaka firmly locked for Sankranti, the question now is when Vishwambhara will finally arrive. The film has faced several delays, mainly due to its heavy VFX work, and fans are still waiting for a clear release date.
